Reasons to be Proud - congratulations to Qhamani Sinefu and Buntu Mnyaka who have been invited to participate in the African Youth Parliament in Lagos, Nigeria later this month.

Qhamani Sinefu
(pictured right), is a senior Law student and Centre for the Advancement of Non-Racialism & Democracy (CANRAD) Intern and Buntu Mnyaka is an honours student in Development Studies and Chairperson of the United Nations Association of South Africa (UNA-SA) Nelson Mandela University Chapter.

The theme of this year's parliament is "Industrialisation at the Grassroots: Challenges and Prospects."

Buntu will also form part of the panel discussion at the event discussing Advancing African Development Through Youth Perspective: Response to Agenda 2063.

Both of these students were invited to participate in the 6th Africa Students and Youth Summit which took place in Ghana in August.
