Reasons to be Proud (R2bP): Congratulations to Siboniso Dlamini, Nelson Mandela University Marine and Maritime Studies researcher as well the chairperson of the Marine and Maritime Association, who was selected to form part of the 75 exceptional young leaders delegation from the African continent to participate at the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) Wildlife Youth Forum this week. 

The purpose of this Forum is to discuss; draw resolutions and action on the topic entitled: "Wildlife Conservation and Combating Trade and Trafficking".

At the forum, Siboniso's focus will be dedicated to International Non-Governmental Organisations (INGOs) perspective in light of the passions, location, lived experiences and past involvement as motivated by the SAIIA.

Other delegates from across the continent will also engage the topic in all spheres of life. The SAIIA hosts the forum in conjunction with the United States Embassy to South Africa. The forum will be televised on GauTV | Golden Television as well as on SABC 2.
