Reasons to be Proud - #R2bP: Mfezeko Mini, a second year student in Agricultural Management on our George Campus recently took first place in a talent competition in New York.

Mfezeko is part of Talent Africa, an arts performance programme that focusses on drama and acting, public speaking, modelling, singing and dancing. He was part of a team, which represented South Africa at the Talent America competition held in Manhattan, New York recently and this was where Mfezeko took first place in the modelling section.

Talent Africa gives artists with talent an opportunity to be exposed to the entertainment world at a national and international level. The organisation helps to shape young performers who show talent into world-class entertainers through national competitions, workshops, pageants, and international exposure to some of the most prestigious events the world has to offer including - the Talent America competition in New York.

After winning his category, Mfezeko scored a call-back from an agency based in New York offering him an opportunity in the modelling and media industry.
