We are proud to announce that the Department of Student Governance & Development’s Student Development Manager, Yanga Lusasa, has been re-elected as the Research and Policy Co-ordinator for the National Association for Student Development Professionals (NASDEV).
This follows his successful three-year term (2021 – 2024) as the Eastern Cape Regional Co-ordinator, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and collaboration with Walter Sisulu University, Fort Hare University, and Rhodes University.
NASDEV, an initiative in the lead for student services and development practice within the Post-School Education and Training (PSET) sector, aims to collectively develop a student development practice agenda, enhance capacity building, and professionalise student affairs. Yanga's re-election to this role underscores his commitment to advancing student development and his dedication to shaping effective policies and research within this domain.
