Change the world

The University’s first Learning and Teaching Review is now available, offering a full overview of the innovation, success stories and ethos of Learning and Teaching at Nelson Mandela University.

The 96-page, full-colour publication was spearheaded by former and present deputy vice-chancellors Professor Denise Zinn and Professor Cheryl Foxcroft.

To quote Vice-Chancellor Professor Sibongile Muthwa, at this University, it’s the “creating of an environment that is conducive to bold thinking and questioning; dislodging outdated theories and narrow-minded preconceptions of learning, teaching and engagement …”

The University’s Learning and Teaching vision, its humanising curriculum and a wide selection of success stories across all seven faculties feature, as well as the exciting innovative e-learning initiatives underway in the newly-created LT Collab (Learning and Teaching Collaborative for Success).
