Both mother and son also studied through the University’s Business School; Yvette obtained her MBA and Ruan his Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration (PDBA).
Yvette completed her BTech Policing at Technikon SA in 1999, the year Ruan was born. She currently works at the Volkswagen Customer Interaction Centre through, Quest, recruitment company.
Ruan is a financial advisor for Medkonsult and already a Mandela University alumnus. He completed his BA General and PGCE at the University and wants to start his MBA in a year or two.
