Collins has been honoured not only with selection to his national team, but also with the prestigious roles of Team Captain and Flag Bearer — a testament to his leadership, dedication, and the respect he has earned, said Melinda Goosen, Madibaz Sport Manager for Netball and Aquatics.

Collins will compete in the 50m Backstroke, 100m Butterfly, 100m Freestyle, 50m Butterfly, and 200m Freestyle, proudly carrying the hopes of his nation into the pool.

The second-year Diploma in Management Practice student's journey is a wonderful example of the value of student sport, where academic and sporting excellence go hand in hand.
