Nelson Mandela University and the Thames Estuary Growth Board have formed a partnership to address shared societal challenges and promote sustainable, inclusive growth.

This collaboration aligns the University’s focus on societal well-being with the Growth Board’s leadership in driving fair economic development in the UK’s dynamic Thames Estuary region.

Recently, Dr Bruce Damons, Amy De Raedt, Oyama Soga, and Sharon Masiza from Mandela University visited the Thames Estuary, further strengthening the collaboration and exchanging ideas for equitable development.

A visit to Thamesmead, an area currently in the process of rejuvenation with a range of interesting projects, often community led and overseen by the Housing Association which owns much of the estate, Peabody. From left Amy De Raedt, Adriana Marques (Peabody), Dr Bruce Damons, Oyama Soga and Sharon Masiza.
