A DBA graduate from the University's Business School, Dr Robinson lectures Business in Society and International Business at the School and is a guest lecturer on Ethical Leadership for the School’s prestigious MBA programme.
BEN-Africa (www.benafrica.org) is a non-profit organisation which was formed on the equator in the heart of Africa in 1999. The founding conviction of BEN-Africa is that by bringing together Africans who share an interest in business ethics, business ethics will be expanded on the African continent. It holds annual conferences throughout Africa and various forums such as the recent Strategic Conversation held at the Nelson Mandela University Business School entitled ‘Ethical responsibilities and gender bias in the workplace’.
BEN-Africa also presents the prestigious Order of the Baobab to individuals or organisations for their extraordinary achievements in advancing organisational ethics on the continent of Africa. Recipients include Mr Pravin Gordhan, Adv Thuli Madonsela and Prof Mervyn King.
