Change the world

09/10/2019

Mandela University Visual Arts Adjunct Professor, Marcus Neustetter, is one of 19 invited artist-activist participants taking part in the new display of CrossSections at Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, Sweden from 2 till 15 October.

The focus is on “discussing and sharing diverse realities, conditions and strategies in different geographies. By placing artistic production at the centre of its research and mission, CrossSections is shaped by the cumulative, interdisciplinary input and data through meetings, residencies, performative presentations and publications”.

The display will summarise three years of research and exchanges between nine partners and 19 artists, coordinated by curator and designer Basak Senova

Over the course of three years (2017–19), the artists, together with other scholars and cultural workers, have organised various meetings, workshops, exhibitions, performances and book launches in Vienna, Helsinki and Stockholm.
