Known as DJ Jikijwa on the airwaves, Thembelani is a Maskandi Radio presenter at Ngqushwa FM 99.50. Growing up in Willowvale in the Eastern Cape, Thembelani learned to love Maskanda music and really enjoys presenting it on radio.
The SATMA Awards first started in 2006 to bring all races and ethnic groups together through the celebration of our diverse musical cultures The Awards give traditional music its rightful status and role in South African Arts & Culture in the preservation of our Heritage.
