Thabiso, who served on the SRC as Community Development Officer in 2018 and Sport Officer in 2019, is excited about the prospect of representing Madibaz Sport, the Univeristy and the Country at the Games which are seen as the Olympics of university sport.
No stranger to success, Thabiso was one of the Top 100 Brightest Young Minds in South Africa in 2014 and in 2019, featured on the Top 100 Future Young Mandelas list by News24.
The 31st World University Summer Games will take place from 18 to 29 August 2021.
