Congratulations to the 10 category winners of The Herald Nelson Mandela University Citizens of the Year 2021 competition.

Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Engagement and Transformation, Professor André Keet who attended the event, congratulated all the worthy winners in the various categories.

"Nelson Mandela University is proud to be associated with The Herald Citizens of the Year, a long-standing community-spirited project in this metro.

Its message resonates with our ethos of being a responsive and engaged institution in service of society.

Reading about the generous work being done to support others in this region is inspiring, and encourages us all to get involved in activities that advances our collective public interests.
