“Sweden on the Road” deepens bilateral relations, promotes Swedish values, and inspires a new generation of South Africans to connect with Sweden, by taking Sweden to the people through ‘electionville’. The work being done by Swedish companies in South Africa, such as Scania, the Sweden International Development Agency (SIDA) projects, as well as UNESCO’s work on sexual reproductive health and rights were presented at the event. A question-and-answer session between the students and the Ambassador, as well as games, further expanded the interaction.
The Mandela International Office was honoured to host the Swedish Embassy at the University, and to facilitate meaningful engagement that strengthens future collaborations.
