This morning, entrances to the University’s North, South and George campuses were blockaded by protesting students, preventing lectures and operations from continuing.
Management met with the SRC to formally table students’ grievances, with a view to resolve the issues as soon as possible.
Among those raised by students are issues relating to funding support to enable the registration and accommodation of presently unfunded students.
The outcomes of those engagements will be tabled at a Special Manco meeting being held this afternoon.
