Congratulations to Prof Ilse Truter, Professor in Pharmacy, who has been elected as a member of the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) International Working Group for Drug Statistics Methodology.

The WHO Collaborating Centre for Drug Statistics Methodology in Norway is responsible for developing and maintaining the ATC Codes and DDD for pharmaceutical products.  In this, they are supported and advised by a WHO-appointed expert working group, the International Working Group for Drug Statistics Methodology.

Prof Truter recently attended the ATC/DDD Working Group meeting in Oslo, Norway, along with 11 other expert members representing different parts of the world.
