Ethical leadership and empowerment will be under the spotlight at the 2017 Nelson Mandela Bay Leadership Summit jointly hosted by Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University Business School and Ukuvula Foundation on 28 June.

Ethical behaviour as pre-requisite for effective leadership will be the topic of McCarthy Retail Ltd Holdings former CEO Brand Pretorius’ presentation, while Richards Bay Coal Terminal Chairperson Nosipho Damasane will discuss the impact of ethical leadership on organisational performance and employee behaviour at the day-long Summit at the Boardwalk International Convention Centre.

Another presentation on this topic is that of speaker Izingwe Holdings Chairperson Sipho Pityana, who will address ethical leadership in times of questionable business and government conduct.

Bophela Investments Executive Chair and Famhealth Medipark MD Jeff Govender will share the Famhealth Medipark story of empowering communities, while Sanral CEO Skhumbuzo Macozoma will discuss leadership with purpose.

Standard Bank Group Head of Card and Emerging Payments across Africa in PBB Lincoln Mali will also participate as presenter.

Presentations will be followed by panel discussions and a closing debate.
